Protect your information

One of the thing that I really like as a business owner is that you can do background check in order to find out more information about the people that are applying in your business. And this being able to do this, means a little more assuring that the person you are hiring or will be hiring has been checked.

Although, credit reports has a limited information,it's enough to find out to make decisions.

When I was working for a bank under the auto loan program, I was able to see a lot of credit history and from the information I have seen, I can pretty much tell if the person someone who is responsible with their money.

Having a credit check once a year is also a great idea to make sure that all the information in your history are accurate. You don't want anything there that is not good. Specially, if you are planning of applying for a loan... any type of loan. With all of the news about identity theft, we just have to take extra precautions in order to protect our personal information.

Door Handles For Less

So it's spring time again and the next thing you know it will be summer. A lot of homeowner's are probably doing a lot of renovations and upgrade to their house by now. With us, its a never ending renovation ever since we move to our house. But I have no regrets. I am a pretty much handy person and I love the idea of making out house suite our taste.

Last month my handy husband did a little bit of upgrade before the carpet was installed. He changed the doors of the 3 bedroom to something that is nicer. We use to have those plain doors and we've always wanted something with a little bit of life to it. And the old door has been shave by the previous owner because the house has some foundation issues. But after the house was bought, the foundation has been fix. And of course with a new door, we need new door handles. Since we still have 4 more doors that we need to replace.. actually make that 5, finding a discount door hardware is great!

Water Park Adventure

Late this afternoon we had our water park adventure. I have been wanting to take my daughter to the water park over in Allen but since my finals was not really over until last week, we have to wait. But today, we finally made it there. Yesterday, we drove over there to check if it's already open. And when my daughter saw it, she keeps saying "mommy, but I really want to go there". Can you imagine hearing this over and over until we got home.

And today, I am exhausted after playing in the water and the play area in the water park. My daughter absolutely loves the water although she didn't play that much because it got a little cold due to the wind blowing. So after we took a break and ate a little we went back hoping she will play some more. But nope! This time she was asking to go to the playground and man this playground is huge. We did quite a few slides and walking through the maze.

On our way home, I was exhausted. My eyes were trying to close as I was driving. Not a very good idea to drive after a couple of hours playing with my daughter. I can see myself driving all over the place as if I am drunk, like those people that are in drug rehab. Good thing there's no police in site. They might think I was drunk.

Speaking of drugs, I was looking at some sites tonight. I know I have to browse, after a long day, I still have to browse and now I am blogging. But anyway, the website was called NIDA Goes Back to School. It is actually a site for drug abuse publications and has some teaching materials to it. So if you need some information, you can stop by over at their site.
