Something new to learn

According to Wikipedia "Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease refers to chronic bronchitis and emphysema, a pair of two commonly co-existing diseases of the lungs in which the airways become narrowed. This leads to a limitation of the flow of air to and from the lungs causing shortness of breath. In contrast to asthma, the limitation of airflow is poorly reversible and usually gets progressively worse over time."

Like other forms of tobacco use, cigar smoking poses a significant health risk like Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease depending on dosage.

I have been reading different type of diseases and the type of drugs that can be used to treat them so I got intrigued with this one. I just have to share it.

And did you know also that the explorer Christopher Columbus is generally credited with the introduction of tobacco to Europe. According to the history two of his crewmen encountered tobaccos for the first time on the island of San Salvador in the Bahamas, presented in dry leaves by the natives.

Interesting? what do you think?
