Time To Get A Home Security System

My husband started a new job last month and during the training he was working night shift straight. It was the first time since we had a child that he wasn't home at night. And the first couple of night was bit stressful. Stressful in a way that I can't sleep. I keep thinking that somebody might just break inside the house and we won't know it. That's the time that I wish we have a home security systems. I guess we just never foresee of my husband working the night shift that's why we never thought of the home security alarm.

Although we have been talking about it before but it was just talk and we never had any concrete plan. Our house was built in 82 so when we bought it, there is no alarm system on it. So putting one one in this house is going to take a lot of work. But it should add some value on the house when its time to sell. Having a home security put up in the house is definitely something that will add value to your house. It will also give home owner the peace of mind that they are safe in their house. Not that I am saying it is not safe in our neighborhood. So far we haven't encountered any neighborhood issue so that is still good.

But the security system for the house is still in our list. What about you, do you have one?
