Shape-Its: Play with your food

Your reading it right... play with your food. Most of the time we here mom or dad says "don't play with your food." Well, that's in the past. Now with Shape-Its Play With Your Food products your children can enjoy and get creating cooking with you.

Shape-Its product started when Michelle Welch from Salt Lake City began building home made hand tools and shaping aluminum strips in her garage. As this cookie cutter began to take shapes she started offering them to local merchants.

Today, different designs are being offered to let imagination and creativity works their magic in the kitchen. Products are packed in fun themed kits that include unique forms and child friendly food decorating items.

Last week, I received the holiday kit and I was amazed at how creative they were. I was so excited to use them for this holiday. With the kit it comes with 3 forms: angel, tree and a star. I like the way it was made because it comes with handles on the side that you can use when you are making the shape. The kit also comes with gel decorator tubes, candy sprinkles, food safe markers and a storage pouch. This food forms are also dish washer safe for easy cleaning. Each food form is made from a durable air craft aluminum that is safe to use from over to freezer. It also comes with different designs that you can choose from: Easter kit, Barnyard, Halloween, holiday, Jurassic, on the go kit, pets kit and sweetheart kits. So whatever mood you have or your kids, you have a food form that you can use.

And with the coming holiday, I totally recommend this as gift for your friend or family member or something for yourself. Need more information about the product? You can check out ShapeIts.com. You can also search for a store close to your area that carry this product and you can purchase it locally. If you did not find a store close to you, their online store also have all the kits available.

Now the fun part!!

Come back on Monday December 1, 2008 for the holiday giveaways I am hosting from December 1 - December 19, 2008 and one lucky reader will win one kit from Shape Its.

Those are cute! Perfect for my finicky toddler. He's more likely to eat something he can play with and think is fun than something horrible and boring that I make!
