Sudden Cardiac Arrest: Educate Yourself

Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) kills 325,000 people a year - or nearly 900 per day? And it usually occurs without any warning. If you or any members of your family has a history of SCA it is always important to be prepare and know what to do in cases like this. For within 4-6 minutes of not being treated for somebody who are having SCA the results can be fatal.

Immediate treatment for SCA involves cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to help keep blood pumping. A Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator can also be used to shock the heart back to normal rhythm
