Deer! Deer! Deer!

When we went to see my father in law a couple of years ago (he passed away the same year I meet him due to cancer) they used to live in an exclusive area where it almost feel like the mountain. Well, it was hilly and they have a 9 acres of land and surrounding it are all trees. The neighborhood almost looks like in the mountains. The area is really secluded. When we were there one afternoon, we saw a deer outside the house munching on the roses of my husband's step mom. I told my husband that there was a deer outside eating the flowers. And soon enough when he went outside the plants are all gone. The deer strip all the plants.

His step mom was so mad about it when she came home. She said that she has been trying to get rid of these deers on their property because it is ruining her garden. She mentioned something about a deer repellent that she used to have and it was very effective. Apparently, the product will scare the deer away because of the smell. It also works well with rabbits and squirrels. It must have been some strong stuff if it can scare away those animals.

Luckily we don't have a deer coming over to our yard. And I can still have my little one just play outside knowing that it is safe.

We saw couple of squirrels specially in the winter season but that's it. I'll be too scared to even go outside the house if I see one deer.
