Hammer Ruler - Would You Use It?

It's summer again and it's that time of the year to upgrades and do some maintenance to your house. So while I was browsing around, I stumble upon this gadget called Hammer Ruler. Yes, you are reading it right, hammer ruler, two gadgets put together. I am not sure how that's going to work, I have been always used to a flat ruler.

The hammer part I can use but the ruler part, I am not sure. People just seem to come up with ideas that sometimes I think is good but in the long run, doesn't really work as it should.
